I am a huge fan of escaping the city whenever possible, but in the coming months that ability to escape on a whim may dwindle…ever so slightly :)
So, last weekend when my husband and I had the opportunity to return to Muskoka and the lovely Maplecrest Cottage located on Lake Joseph, I was beyond giddy with excitement.
Just the two of us, our dog and this little Bean I’m carrying…how many ways can you say heaven?! It was the perfect way to relax before this little bundle arrives in the fall.
Maplecrest is a truly calm and cozy escape with the perfect mix of cottage charm and cool atmosphere…there’s even a Bridget Riley print in the bathroom of the main cottage ;)
Only adding to it’s amazingness is the tranquility and seclusion of the gorgeous surroundings.
There really is something so incredibly special about Muskoka, isn’t there?
